United Airlines announces new winter season schedule flying over 4,000 flights per day.
Launching Oct. 24, the schedule includes adding flights at more than 140 US airports to both warm and cold destinations.
“This winter, we’re offering more flights to more destinations to give customers the widest range of places to explore,” said Patrick Quayle, United’s Senior Vice President of Global Network Planning and Alliances.
“Whether that’s adventuring somewhere new overseas, unwinding with some sun or enjoying the best ski towns in the country, we’re pleased to offer easy access to the top destinations for winter getaways.” said Quayle
Internationally, United will fly to Marrakesh in Africa and extending southern Europe service to the following destinations; Greece, Spain, Italy, and Portugal.
Growth in Latin America is also on United’s mind as United is adding a service to Medellin, Colombia and Monterrey, Mexico.
Domestic growth includes increasing flights to warm-weather destinations such as Phoenix, Palm Springs, and San Diego.
Ski destinations will also receive additional service with flights to Aspen, CO, and Mammoth, CA via United partner Skywest pending government approval.
