NEW YORK – Wondering if Grand Central is a must do on your NYC trip? I have got you covered with me sharing my experience seeing Grand Central and if it’s worth the visit.
Grand Central Location
Grand Central is located at 89 E 42nd St, New York, NY 10017
The terminal features plenty to do and see as one of the top transit hubs in the city. There are plenty of places to shop and dine as well as exploring some of New York’s History.
Shop & Dine
If you are needing a bite to eat, the Grand Central terminal has got you covered with a variety of dinning options from coffee shops to full scale restaurants. Before your visit I encourage you to take a look at the plethora of options and to create a list of your must-do places. The lines for each location tend to get long during peak times so it is best to plan ahead.

When I visited Grand Central I went to Dirty Taco to try some of their offerings. Overall I enjoyed the tacos and felt that they were flavorful and tasty. The price of the tacos was above average however given the location it was not a surprise to me.

As someone with a massive sweet tooth, I had to try Magnolia Bakery. I had seen numerous posts online about the infamous banana pudding and wanted to see if it was worth the hype. Overall the pudding tasted unique. It wasn’t too sweet with the banana flavor clearly distinguishable. I wish I could have bought more to take back home.

Magnolia Bakery has a few different size options depending upon what you are ordering. If sharing with a group I would recommend taking the larger size as the pudding may not last between all of you. As I was ordering by myself the smallest size was more than enough for me personally.

If you do have time available and want to learn more about Grand Central I highly recommend doing a walking tour. Get Your Guide is one of my preferred websites I use when traveling as they have an extremely flexible return and reservation policy

NYC: The Secrets of Grand Central Terminal is one tour option that features a live tour guide as well as an audio guide for a tour lasting approximately 90 minutes.
The walking tour will showcase all of the history behind Grand Central and discover hidden secrets.
