Norwegian Cruise Line announces the first look of the new highly anticipated ship Norwegian Aqua.
Marking a milestone in the company as the 20th ship added to the Norwegian fleet features unique industry first experiences available exclusively with Norwegian.
President of Norwegian Cruise Line David J. Herrera said, “This is a milestone moment for Norwegian Cruise Line as we set sail aboard Norwegian Aqua, a ship designed to offer our guests MORE – more wide-open space, more thrills, more culinary experiences, and more immersive entertainment.”
The Aqua is the first ship announced within the Prima Plus Class which builds on the experience from the Prima Class allowing Norwegian customers to experience a new higher product.
Industry-first experiences
The world’s first hybrid rollercoaster and waterslide known as the Aqua Slidecoaster will be a unique adventure unlike anything else you have ever experienced.

The Glow Court is a new digital sports complex which features a new LED floor that changes for different games and becomes a club at night.

The Aqua Game Zone features entertainment for all ages with retro arcade games, virtual reality, and other unique gaming experiences.

On-board Entertainment
“Revolution: A Celebration of Prince” A Prince headlining concert experience where Guests can experience the iconic artist.

“Elements: The World Expanded” a unique entertainment experience featuring acrobatics, magic, and visuals inspired by the four elements.

Food & Beverage is also a core part about the Aqua experience. Over 17 restaurants and 18 bars and lounges featuring a wide variety of cuisines and options. For plant-based Guests, a new offering Is available at the Indulge Food Hall keeping in mind plant-based dietary restrictions.

Norwegian Aqua is scheduled to be christened in Miami, Florida on April 13 alongside Miami, Port Canaveral, and New York City becoming the ship’s homeport. Itineraries will vary from Bahamas, Caribbean, and Bermuda until March 2027.
