Holland America and The History Channel partner for a new cruising experience

History is now coming to life on Holland America cruise line. Holland America and The History Channel are partnering up to create a new cruising experience. The three-year partnership consists of custom itineraries and excursions designed for all types of travelers. 

Chief marketing officer for Holland America Kacy Cole said “As two iconic brands rooted in storytelling, we are uniquely positioned to bring history to life through custom itineraries and shore excursions. This partnership further differentiates our brand and allows us to deliver to our guests experiences that are too good to hurry through.” 

Cruise Itineraries 

Cruise itineraries will vary but some examples of what travelers may expect to see are themed departures such as northern Europe and its Viking Heritage, the Artic region’s history of polar exploration, and more.  

Shore Excursions

The partnership shore excursions are designed to experience history firsthand. Examples of excursions include Gold Panning & Underground Mine Exploration, Giza Pyramids, and much more.
