On Sept. 4, Marriott International announced the transformation of the W New York – Union Square. Over $100 million dollars was invested into the 256 room hotel located at the heart of New York City.

Hotel Lobby
The lobby of the hotel features rich history and architecture inspired by Grand Central station. The grand staircase of the hotel has also been updated with new carpet, marble floors, and a mural.
The living room café is a new space for hotel Guests starts as a café by day and transforms to a cocktail bar at night. Live entertainment is also a cornerstone of the hotel featuring live music, DJ sets, pop-up performances and more to give Guests the chance to connect and immerse themselves into the city.

Food & Beverage
Dinning options are also set to get a refresh at W Hotels with a new seafood restaurant opening known as Seahorse this fall. The menu offers various seafood dishes designed to leave a lasting impression. The 125-seat dinning room can be accessible either through the hotel or the separate entrance off of Park Ave South.

Wellness Space
For hotel Guests needing a wellness space, the new FIT space by W Hotels features an in-hotel peloton studio with five bikes available and hydro-massage chairs for post-recovery after a workout. The green and yellow tile themes the FIT space to the nearby 14th street Union Square station.
