Nov. 26, 2024 — Craving the best food in the sky? Try Alaska Airlines. The airline has been honored with the best inflight food and beverage award by Business Traveler north America. With input from the flying public as well as experienced industry professionals, Alaska Airlines had the following food and beverage offerings recognized.
Cloud Cruiser Craft Beer
Alaska’s commitment to highlighting its West Coast heritage can be seen throughout their food and beverage portfolio but is particularly seen in the beverage category. The Cloud Cruiser craft beer served on Alaska is from brewery Fremont Brewing. This unique craft beer also showcases one of a kind can artwork by featuring an Alaska Airlines logo on the can.

Hot Meals Return
Earlier this year, Alaska added hot meals back to the inflight menu on flights greater than 1,100 miles, said the airline. Availability options may vary based on flight route, arrival and departure airport, etc. Additionally, certain food and beverage offerings may be preordered only, which can be done from 2 weeks up till 24 hours before departure.




Beverage Refresh
Beginning, Nov. 20 a non-alcoholic sparkling water brewed with hops known as Lagunitas Hoppy Refresher is available for purchase in the main cabin and is complimentary in first class and premium class. The drink has a crisp and citrusy taste.

First Class Dinning
Alaska flights departing from SFO (San Francisco) to JFK (New York) can enjoy a new dining experience in first class. Partnering with Chef Brandon Jew who is the owner of Mister Jiu a seven-time michelin-star restaurant, the updated menu features modern Chinese American cuisine delivering an award-winning experience in the sky.
